A thin wash (paint thinned right down with just turps) over the lot, and some detail added over the top with equally thin paint last night. Looking forward to getting back to it tonight once the boys are in bed!
Checked back through my records and the horse is actually Sidnificant, one of Clare Lewis's rides. A very photogenic model, the (many!) photos I have of him being led in hand after his XC round at Bramham are just beautiful!
I'm really loving this portrait of Significant. He's a beautiful boy. Can't wait for the finished result.
