I was up at 5:30am feeding Henry (who is now 4 months old, how time flies!) and couldn't get back to sleep so got up and finished this painting while the rest of the house slept!
24" x 18" oil on linen. Have loved every minute of painting this one!
Thank you so much Claire! It will certainly be on display at one exhibition or another. Will be aiming it at the SEA exhibition in London first and foremost, but there are other opportunites to exhibit it later in the year too, if it doesn't get in to SEA/doesn't sell there :-)
I look forward to seeing it :) I don't know how you managed to paint at that time of the morning. I know what it's like being up at silly o'clock with a baby but I'd be too tired to beable to concentrate on painting such detail, again my hat comes off to you.
