Awful photo thanks to the artificial light yellowing everything but you get the idea! This is the little 5" x 7" I have been waiting to get going with after the background took so long to dry! So far just loosely sketched in the areas of light and dark- once dry will put quite a heavy glaze of browns over the top and then start to work on the details, paying closer attention to what needs to go where as I go.

He's coming along now isn't he? How are you finding this one? I know you really wanted to get this one going :) Its lovely watching them come along and I find it interesting watching your technique and approach to paintings. Its a tutorial for me anyway.
